Hey Guys, whats the best 2 Way Communication Alarm company on the market. I currently have a Compustar I puchased in '01, and the remote is damaged, and would like to go to a newer alarm, with all the features.

you are asking an opinionated question. thats like asking somebody "what is the best car ever manufactured?" some will say ferrari, some will say lambo's, some will say aston marten...

you will surely get many different answers to your post. your answers will depend on what features you want, what kind of price range your looking at, and who you ask this question. althought, im sure that you will get more responses suggesting the Viper 791xv and the Compustar alarm. with clifford G series being a close third. those seem to be the favorites on this forum.

i have a viper 791xv, i love it. my friend has a compustar, he loves it. in the end, they all have almost the same options and do the same things. i think the main difference is in ease of installation and setup.

ive been through several compustar 1way and 2way and same for viper. i just like viper better. parts are easier to find, like 2way remote, you can find that on ebay any days. its good for me cause i do this by hobby not by trade.
some of the features on compustar that i do like:
1.confirmation chirp
2.on remote programming
3.whistling noise when chirp.
the down side to it is, remote (2wss-as 1st-gen) is so bulky and also the lag but i think the 2nd gen gotten fixed.
right now, am still on a 790xv but w/ a 1way. dont ask me why.
still waiting for viper 5000
