I want to know if I can rig a stereo 1/8" in for a MP3 player to a stock radio on a '05 Ford F150. The stock radio is suprisingly adequate. Any help?

yes you can    you need a fm modulator   not one of the wireless ones   but a wired one   it simply plugs into the antenna port and the antenna is plugged into it   it needs +12 and a ground   and it gives you a set of RCA's   just get a converter from the RCA to 1/8"

Thank You. Where do I find such a device? Are there any differences in quality?

Yes, FM modulation sucks, but that is the only way to get audio into that radio right now. There are no interfacing companies that have an aux in available for that radio yet.

this adapter im referring to is universal   this one is probably your best bet   http://www.cardomain.com/item/POWEFM04     and depending on your car you may need some adapters to convert the antenna plug to one that fits your stock cable

Thanks, guys. I will check this out. I know the FM thing will probably top out at about 15k, but it's all I can afford for the time being.
