How much did alarms cost back in the day?

me a few of my installer freinds were talking about this. ive been doign this for 10 years, but wanted to know what the prices of alarms were like in the late 70 to early 80?
When did DEI start making alarms?

There are still a few Alarm companies making Quality Alarms that started back in the 1960's.  From the change of a Bell to a Siren and MAJOR circuit board & technology designs, cost for Alarms have NOT changed that drastic over the years.
Labor has........
Install times have also.
It took Detroit a long time to offer anything that was useful.  From Power Sunroofs to  Windows, Security to Stereo systems......Aftermarket was ( I still think " IS " ) the better way on most wanted Items by Customers
