Ok are you ready for this!

Grab beer and read.

I want to install a DEI 530t in my 2002 Camaro SS.

I know how to wire all the windows up -sort of. But, I'll get to that.  My dilema is I want to be able to use the auto up and down function while the car is switched on but not off. However I want my remote Key fob to be able to roll my windows up and down with the press of the key fob buttons.

Now here is the deal I have an extra negative pulse channel to roll the windows down.  Would the wiring be something like this?

87 - not used

87a - RED / white from 530t
85 - Progressive door lock bypass wire (- pulse from car (2nd press door unlock)(not used))
86 - Constant 12v
30 - Chassis ground
Now how would I wire the next relay if the pulse coming from the car is positive.  Would it be the same as above?  Or should I revers the coils? Like this-

87 - not used

87a - orange wire
86 - grey wire tapped from the BCM (+pulse wire (door lock ))
85 - Constant 12v
30 - Chassis ground

My next question is, it's (530t) directions say to ground violet to ground path motor 1 and violet/black to ground path motor 2.  Can I just ground these to the chasis?

Thanks for any help!Relay on DEI 530t - Last Post -- posted image.

Your first relay seems to be correct, however since you output from you keyless is a neg. and the input for the 530 is neg. you should be able to connect directly to the wire with out a relay, unless you recive some unwanted feed bad. But you should not.

Your second relay should be

85 ground

86 + pulse from the bcm

30 ground

87a not used

87 orange wire on the 530

Don,

Thanks for the reply

I'll give it a shot.  I hope it works.  I think I need to run a relay for then negative one as well because everytime someone uses the lock switch in the car it will roll the windows down.

How would that relay look?

Also, why dO I use 87a above instead of 87?  Because it's positive?
