Hi, heres the the basic info:

Car: 1992 Nissan 240sx SE

Alarm: ASIANWOLF 8000RS
for info on it go here:  http://www.asianwolf.com/item.jhtml?UCIDs=1068694|1068709&PRID=1495115
Ok, well basically I installed this alarm myself.  It was working perfectly for about a month or two.  Now, for some reason, after I arm it, the alarm goes off after about 2 minutes.  The pager tells me the hood is being opened, or the car is being tampered with/giving off a warning (possibly shock sensor). Whatever the case, the alarm keeps going off and it defeats the purpose of having an alarm since there's nothing happening to the car itself.  I had not completed the remote start portion of the alarm, but the alarm worked regardless of it incomplete. Just to be sure, I disconnected the remote start wires and it still does not make a difference. I'm not sure where to start here, so if I could get some pointers, that would be great.  Could it be a grounding issue of some sort? Thanks

you say pager tells ya "hood is open" or the shocksensor. is it both or just one or other. try unhook the shock sensor see if it gose away is if so adujst the sensor. if the shock is nto it un hook the hood pin switch, tape off the end so it dont touch ground, see if it that it, if so replace hood switch.

The hood pin is not hitting the hood. Disconnect the hood pin wire and try it.
