I recently bought a 1999 Toyota 4Runner that I found was imported from Canada. From what I have read, the 99's did not have DRL's in the US but they did in Canada. I have yet to find an article that is written about the Canadian version. I found a diagram from Toyota on how to disable the 2000 and newer models but that daiagram does not match my truck. I either need to know how to disable them completely or how to wire around them for my HID's. Either way is fine for me, I'm just tired of messing with it. Thanks.

I just took apart the whole underside of my dash and the ventilation system and I can't find a box that looks like the one in the picture. Can you give me a more detailed description of where it is? thanks
