Newer Acuras keysense wire= disarm?
as some of you nkow on Hondas and acuras, some of the production lines have the door harness right at the door. if you want to run a wire into a door, its pretty much impossible to get through there since there are harnesses right there.

anyways, honda have a keysense wire at the steering columns or more precise, at the key cylinder. i know for a fact that honda integrate alarm into their multiplex system and that keysense goes w/ that system too.
because i hate to go through the door, i was wondering if i can use the keysense to ground it to disarm the alarm?
btw, i can test it but if someone here know about it lmk.

I dont know for sure, however i do know for a fact DEI has said to use keysense wire for disarm (i believe it was on mazda 6's) and that does not work. So i guess the simplest way to find out on hondas/acura's, is to trigger the factory alarm and set up a temporary ground test lead to tap onto the keysense wire and see what happens. post your results on what you find out!

factory disarm wire on newer honda's and acuras is located in the drivers door. from my experience the key sense wire disarm trick only works if it is listed on directwire as it having said wire. like OM said, it takes like 10 min to run into the drivers door ;)

i guess no one havent mess w/ it yet. i sometime go beyond the info thats given to me, like Directwire. i thot maybe someone goes through a service manual or familiar w/ hondas multiplex system.
it may takes 10 min to get to the door but yall guys arent gettin the point. my point is that, w/ what is given, the keysense, is it as same as an disarm? this is hypothetical situation, the install is in the past and yes i used the disarm wire in the door.
anyone else?
