OK I figured out that I hooked everything up like the instructions said but they were wrong and told me to hook it up to the wrong channel. But I experimented and found the right one and now it works. Only problem is it won't start unless I'm like 5 ft from the car. I tried taking out the relay and seeing if it works but it needs that relay to get power so it didn't. Any kind of antenna booster for this type of stuff? It has the basic wire antenna.

What kind of unit and describe the antenna plug into the RS unit. ( eg, a single molex plug with 4 wires or the co-axial type )

you can extend the ant and just run it up the door a-pillar.. of course, I don't think that's the problem.. if you open up the remote, some of them have a 'fine tune' pot. in them.. open the remote and look for a little pot with something that looks like a phillips screw driver will turn.. you will HAVE to get a plastic screwdriver for this.. what you do is get away from the car and just turn the pot very little.. like 1/16 of a turn at a time and try the button.. We used to have contests at mobile one in NOLA to see who can get the best range from the old UNGO Box alarms..just don't use a metal screw driver, it will act like an antenna and give false readings.. also, to check and see if this will do any good, stand away from the car and hold the remote under your chin and see if it works.. also might want to try a new battery.. just because if was new in the box, dont' mean that it is not 2 years old and something in the box was holding the button down for a period of time..

Ok I opened one and saw no screw. But just now I opened another and I now see the little tiny screw. Would clockwise or counterclockwise make it more or less range. And couldn't I just take the screwdriver and turn it then pull it off and press the button, if it's not touching it can't be an antenna right?

you can do that.. will take longer... I usually just kept the screw driver on it and held the button.. as far as which way, depends.. just turn it..
