Hey guys. Just got back from my labor day camping trip. I pulled my truck in the driveway went to lock the doors with the remote and got the cant transmit icon and beeps. I check all the fuses and all were good. I test for power at the brain and that checked out as well. I tried to get into prgram mode with the valet switch and couldnt. Whats going on here?
Thanks
Steve

I had a similar issue. Like ringojam said check connection to antenna and brain. It could be something as easy as that.

In my case though it was the remote that was messed up.

Luckily I had a friend with a similar alarm and let me borrow his remote to test my alarm system and it was definitely my remote. Just bought a new one off ebay and works excellent.

Keep us updated with your case.

You can try and fail but dont fail to try...

Thanks guys, but I think my problem is more than that. I cannot get into programming mode. Nothing happens when I press the valet switch. I think my brain is fried because nothing seems to be working.

My truck had the same exact problem. It wouldn't go into programming mode, I tracked down the antenna wire, disconnected then reconnected it now everything is fine.

I unpluuged all the wires and reconnected them. Did you unplug it at the brain or the antenna?

If the valet switch is not working check te ground. Also try to see if the alarm auto arms it self. I have installed several of these units  and they are pretty bullit proof. 99% of the time its the antenna, try and unplug the unit and reinstall it.

I just went outside and unhooked the antenna wire from the brain and also from the antenna itself. Plugged it back in and still nothing. I also removed the brain and it has a faint burnt smell to it....
