RCA problem?

alright i have two twelves hooked up to and amp the RCA cable from teh back of the deck is going to the input on the amp then from the output on that ampp it is going to the input on an amp for my speakers, but the subs are not even hitting as hard as they usually do and when it gets to a certain volume the speakers cut out, is there ne thing i should check or ne thing?pioneer head unit, dual 6.5 door speakers, rear pioneer 6x9s, 2 aw1208t audiobahn subs 1500 watts RMS each, one virtual reality 400 watt amp, and one 3000 watt Boss mono channel class D amp

Sounds like a possible ground problem. recheck your ground and make sure you have a solid connection.
