I accidentally disconected my ecu when looking for a tach wire..ok i thought the bolt took off a cover but the whole plug came out.  Do i have to take it to the dealership for reprogramming or just start it and run it a few times or what?  Any help please

The vehicle is a chevy silverado.  it started and seems ok but runs a little rough.  I had read it takes a few times to run right...is there any other problems other than having to run it a few times?
