Damn dude... I know that subs heavy... are you planning on supporting the magnet with a piece of mdf... you definitely should. Either that or you should double up on the mdf on the mounting side of the enclosure.

Master Asylum i am having no trouble at all getting the resin to soak into 9 oz fiber glass mat...it just uses alot more resin..

TCalYen i had 2 of the same subs in a seal enclosure with just 3/4 mdf..it was fine..the wouldn't didn't flex at all....i just had a problem with the box walking around the trunk...i just ended up putting carpet under the box and all my rattles went away...

yea i put fleece on resined it and i've got 6 layers of fiber glass on it now....sunday i think i am going to do another 2
