I guess I didn't realize it until now, but I must be a installation idiot.  The instructions for this remote starter must be too easy or way too vague.  It seems like I'm hooking up 3-4  12v constant wires all together.  I can do this but it doesn't sound right. It sounds like they want me to attach them all to the same point, for instance, on the 12v constant  I've got one constant on my (H1) harness, one on the remote start ribbon, and two on the heavy gauge relay satelite. Do these all tie together at the same point .  If anyone has a Valet 552T for dummies book I would definately be interested.

i am looking at the 552 book now . thw ribbon wires dont get broken and  connected to anything the relay satelight  harness says it has one constat but your probably right it has two so it easy take the two heavy guage wires i am sure they have fuses on both take one and cut it about an inch after the fuse. and take the other heavy guage wire an strip off some casing about an inch after the fuse now tap and twist around the previeously cut wire so you now have eliminated on wire going to key cylinder. now you can also do the same for the red wire of the main 552t box just estimate how much wire yo99u going to need from distance between the brain and the relay center than cut the wire to fit your guess and for the ribbon going to relay center bend it and make it the same distnace than tape the two wires together and you now only have one constant going to the key cylinder, the remote start ribbon is for signal only you dont cut it at all . what will happen is when the car is off the ignitions starter and acc wires will show ground and when the car is on the ignition ,acc wires will show constant to the alarm via the relay ribbon. and starter wire constant doring crank if you do this right you will have the option to pull up to a store and take your keys out leaving the car started. to do this just turn your parking lights off. pull up to somewhere and press the buttons to remote start your car when the parking lights go on the remote starter has the cars control . the remots starter will not go to start the car it will sence that it has already been starter and just stay on.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.
