Hello to you all, Could anyone please give me some info about an Audi A6 1.8T. The radio has been removed to check if it uses an amplified system but it wont come back on?

I have refured to the handbook which states the unit should say SAFE. but it doesnt, If anyone has done one of theses or even came up against this problem could you let me know, Thanks

Turns out the fuse had blown on the back of the Radio. Problem solved.

I just sold my '97 Audi 1.8t. The A4 1.8t is pre-wired for a Motorola phone.
Go to Audiworld.com Technical FAQ to learn how to tap into the factory wiring and get nearly all the features of an OEM phone with any aftermarket kit.
I installed a hands-free for a Motorola v60 with full mute,audio through the stereo speakers, etc. using information found there.
