Got a 00  chevy venture with fact alarm  that's too sensitive.  Is there an adjustment on the alarm brain?  If so, can you direct me where to get to the brain and adjustment- is it under the pass kick panel? If not, how do I disable alarm?  I think there may be a fuse I can pull, so long as I don't lose the horn.

Thanks.

if you wanna disable it, it should say in your user manual (I'd read mine, but its at the body shop) But there is options as to when you want your alarm to turn on. There's a "with transmitter only" option, a "transmitter, or from the outside with the key" option, and "transmitter, from the outside with the key, or pressing one (might just be drivers side, not quite sure) of the power lock switches while a front door is open" or something stupid like that. and I believe there's also an off option. Good luck.

The factory shock sensor is under the driver's dash. Tear the tape off it and use the adjustment dial.

I could use some more detail on the shock sensor location if anyone has it for the 00 venture.

Also, I don't have a manual for the vehicle. can someone who does inform me of the procedure for changing the alarm settings?

Thanks!
