I´m new in this and Im gonna try to do some work in my mustang trunk, but I went to www.uscomposites.com (the site that many people recommend) I found like 10 kinds of fiber glass cloth form a lot of Oz, Do they all work good? I dont have a lot of money to buy the expensive one, so Im looking for the cheapest but that works fine Im planing to place 2  10" subs.Thanx

If your looking for strength in the final product, I buy my fiberglass stuff from TAP plastics. What they told me is to use a sandwitch technique. I used ordinary cheap fiberglass. First layer fiberglass, then a one product called Baltek mat, or Nytek mat. then another layer of fiberglass. I used Marine Vynel ester resin. About $50.00 - $60.00 a gallon by well worth the money. I have tried about every product out there and this is the best. Can withstand temperatures up 240 degrees. Is completely UV stabil, and extremely hard when finally cured. It cures really quick in the sunlight, so if you work indoors with it it takes a lot longer, mine took 1.5 days to finally cure.   This sandwitch technique works really well for me. And the fiberglass costs really cheap. 60" X 36" for only about $12.00 per yard.
And the Baltek runs for about $10.00 per yard. IT is only about 36 inches wide. www.tapplastics.com

I like to use 1-1.5 ounce chop strand mat and resin from Home Depot.
Why do you ask if I ate paint chips when I was younger?
