Does anyone know if whether or not the Pioneer AVIC-N2 brain is compatible with the AVIC-N1 head unit as long as the software has been updated to the latest? I sent an email to Pioneer, but it's taking a while, so I thought I'd ask around in the mean time.

i have tried this and have had no problims yet been like this for about 3 months
