High End CD Decks

I am looking for a higher to high end cd player for my car and am wondering what people have worked with and reccomend. i've always liked alpine but from what i've been hearing lately their quality has gone downhill :-( i am open to all suggestions

Eclipse makes great decks loaded with features. I have a Nakamichi 45z as a back up and that is a great deck as well. Mcintosh makes some very nice pieces. They tend to be very basic but very clean. The pioneer p9 is also a high end deck that has the audiophile in mind.

if u want the cleanest sounding deck on the market today then get the Clarion ProAudio DRZ9255 it is quite literally the BEST AND CLEANEST SOUNDING headunit ...it is a little on the pricey side but well worth it. I am partial to clarion for decks that sound CLEAN not so much loud and distorted...if you want something that play louder then kenwood EXCELONS are ok too.
