1) Make sure you are using a ground when running off of the remote start to the ground when running input of the PLXR. If it's a DEI remote start, you will be using the blue wire (NOT the blue white). As to the color on your particular brand of starter (can't remember what it is).....
2) Make sure it is programmed correctly in the correct mode.
The only high current wires you need off of the remote start are ignition, and +12V.... everything is either negative trigger, or done by the ECM.

Excellent.....
That was going to be the next one. I know on a lot of the DEI stuff, if you hold the button too long, it will start, then shut down as soon as the button is released. A 2sec button press is all you need. Glad to help you out...

PS: Have an 05 Colorado booked in for tomorrow morning as a matter of fact.....

The one I did yesterday had the 5cyl. in it. I did not do any sort of tach connection, just used voltage sense (computer is controlling crank.... the computer won't let the starter grind...) If you were to do tach, I believe in the Black connector of the ECM there will be all 5 injector wires.
Otherwise, nothing wierd, half hour install with keyless. Lotsa room under the dash too.
