yea these subs are quite good if ur looking for a quality sql sub. But you will need a decent amount of box room for these subs. i must say they are one of the best type of subs i've used (XXX) and they can produce sum mega spl so if you want quality subs with sum pound then these are the subs.im not sure about america but in the uk the higher end re's are alot cheaper in comparison to other similar powered subs. perosnally i would recommend to them to any one looking for quality bass.

Yes,

But can you be more specific on which line, they have may subs from entry level to full out comp spl subs
I have a 12 inch XXX, its considered to be in the same quality range as the W7 for half the price, since I have listed to both I can say it does a good job in comparison.
The XXX has a huge  Xmax and and and very high RMS rating of 1600 watts, it really shines for SPL use, but when I play some old P-Funk thru it you can cleary hear every bass note even in my new Snail Shell box at 4 cubic feet, though some times with fast moving bass it does seem to get muddy, but I believe that is more the boxes fault than the sub..
Thats just a small burp about RE, id suggest you head over to SD and look around there forums, there is pleanty of info out about RE over there

the sx is meant to be a more spl focused sub as it does not have the xbl2 technology of the xxx. basically upto the rms of the sx the sx will perform better in terms of spl than the xxx, obviously the xxx has a higher wattage and therefore will go louder, but in terms of punch per watts the SX is the louder. it has a much more reduced xmax figure, but these days all people are concerned about is linear excursion, back in the day subs could create mega spl with minimal xmax figures, but this is the new trend. yea so the SX is the louder woofer upto its rms rating.

oh yea my XXX is in a 2.2cubic foot box with a 28hz tuning freq and this thing hits hard, drops low and is dead tight. in my own choice there is no equal to the xxx for SQ and thje price, but the IDMAX is another good performer, if you're looking take a look at this sub also, its well impressive
