Next year will be sirius hands down. All the sports and Howard. I'll create a poll.

True, auex; but I beleive XM still has almost twice as many subscibers as Sirius does. Plus XM has had the jump on receiver technology with the record and playback functions on the SkyFi2, and the Pioneer Aiware and MyFi completely portable units. I know Sirius just upgraded the sportster to include the record and playback feature and I hear Sirius is coming out with a portable unit to compete just in time for the holiday season. But with all this, you're right; I think this holiday season and next year will be a big boom for Sirius.
Life moves pretty fast; if you don't stop and look around once in a while; you could miss it.

Man who cares about Howard Stern...Opie & Anthony kick butt....

and now you dont have to pay extra to get O&A....I like the selection of XM over Sirius, they seem to have a more diverse selection of music....

Sirius has the better programming. I had XM since it came out and I changed this year and I am some much happier. the only complaint is with my XM I would never, ever lose reception. with Sirius if I go down a heavily tree lined road the Sirius will cut out.

In Canada the Sirius is better because of the 3 satellites but I heard that XM is ( or already has ) sent up a third satellite to cover Canada. So in the end it's all about programming options for the stations and also price for subsriptions.

Great replies. I'd like more opinions, especially on the programming. I have recently purchased XM and a few people told me that Sirius has more music channels. I have tried looking on the Sirius website for a few days, but it must be down. XM is great, but it doesn't offer a lot of music that I like.
