Hey konrad100, and everyone else... i have been trying to choose on speakers and amps... i was thinking about going with alpine subs.. but i know the JL w7's are loud.. i have a car though.. hmmmm umm... i was thinking about gettin 2 1000watt amps and put one on each alpine sub.. or get the w7s and get a 1000 watt amp. any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

man i would recommend the same amp that i have for one type x from alpine, if you want biggggg bass, then run one amp on one sub, that shhh would pound. i have never heard the w7's but i know they are loud.

... and .... What the deuce?

JL's W7 line can be a high powered great SQ sub... If you are wanting loudness, there are different options(I don't venture into SPL, but I know the JL isn't #1). I'd personally go with the w7's between the two because I love the SQ, but if you are looking for loudness, look elsewhere.

On a side not, I'm sorry, but some of the shhh I just read is absurd. Even for me.
