I've measured my length for ground wire(s) and it comes to about 24 inches each. Is this too long? I have a us amps 200 and 600. I will be running an 8 gauge ground from the 200 and two 8 gauge grounds (per the manual) from the 600. I was planning on putting all three grounds on the same bolt. Is this going to cause me any motor noise, etc? Or would it just be better to run a 4 gauge from the battery to a distribution block and connect the three 8 gauge grounds to it?
Thanks in advance,
Heath

This may be a dumb question. But what would be the difference b/w connecting the three 8 gauge wires to the body (under the seat) and hooking them to a block and connecting the 4 gauge to the body? Should I take the 4 gauge to the battery or somewhere under the hood and attach it to the frame?

Read the grounding sticky at the top of the forum, then read some of the questions in the related sticky thread.
