You know, when you think you know what you are doing, something always gets in the way to bring you back to reality. I am a dissapointed owner of a CS2011RS for my 94 Honda Accord EX. I have installed many alarms before. Actually the last install was a VIPER 300+ on a 92 honda accord. Installation went fine.

Now, I am on my car. Took me 5 hours to figure this out and I have no clue still at this point.

I had all the wires in neatly taped, all the locations tapped and all. No RESPONSE from the alarm. Nothing but some faint chirps from the siren.

I think the mod my be dead but im not sure. The thing that bothered me the most was the (2) 12v sources it required and it said to go to the BATTERY. Why?

Im kind of regretting this. Maybe I should have bought the Aladdin for my car.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Thanks

Upset AMbush

Whenever I get a faint chirp from a system, it means that either the power or ground is not good enough at the unit or at the siren. Check the fuses to make sure they are both good and also check to make sure that the harness is completely plugged in on all parts of the Crimestopper.

I put lots of those in and that has happened to me before and it turned out to be the ground. Make sure you have a good ground .8ohms or less.
