infinity dodge amp?

i am working on  04 dodge truck with an infinity sound system, is it possible to keep the original factory amp or will i have to bypass it?  the deck that we are going to install is a ceapy DVD/TV and has much less power if i run new wires straigt to the deck...... can the factory amp be used??? and HOW?

Yes If i remember correctly it is located behind the passenger side air bag.

The 04 Infinity amps in the Rams are speaker level in with a regular 12 volt turn on. It is no problem to use the factory amp with a new head unit.

great to konw, how do i go about that???? where would i find a diagram or somthing for wireing? i really want to use the stock amp

Standard Metra Dodge harness should be all you need.

so just attach the metra harness and the amp will have a good clean signal?
