I wonder if someone can give me a installation and user manual for Automate Model 1 security alarm.

My 91 infiniti G20 car has problem with the alarm after 6years of trouble free.

I don't have any manual for this alarm.

When I press the lock/unlock botton, the doors don't lock and don't unlock.

All I can hear is the chirp telling me I just hit the remote button.

Also I can start the engine .

Please help!

Correction: I can not start the engine. I think the brain is malfunction.

Or there is some lose connection some where.

it's hard to tell what;s wrong. just get your dmm out and sheck all the connections and go from there.

Install and user manuals are 2 very different things, heres for install!
