A  Friend of my has just recentley purchased a Solo x 10'' 2ohms, he is afraid that his 2000watt mono Earthquake will not move it. I think it will.

What do you guys think????

Whell, it will definately move it...for a short while unless he has a nice big alternator.

that amp will run that sub just fine. but will the alternator rub that amp ?

Remember....it takes power to make power...It will be as good as the weekest link in the charging/storage system.

the amp will run that sub just fine. but the alternator will need to be upgraded. and i would suggest a kinetik battery www.kinetikaudio.com

Definately needs an alt upgrade, no matter how big of an amp he puts to that sub it still wont bump unless he has a big alternator to keep up. Tell him to check out  http://stores.ebay.com/Iraggi-Alternator-and-Electronics ,  www.mechman.com, www.meangreen.com , www.ohiogen.com .

Look on Ebay for a H.O alt, your gonna need it That Solo is a beast, and your gonna wanna crank it up, but you need power supply on-demand to feed your amp. Is the amp 1-ohm sable. How are you gonna wire the sub to show an 1 or 4 ohm load?
