I'm looking for some advise here on a system that I'm putting together for a 2001 Ford F-250. I've got the head unit already ( Clarion 9755z ) and one of the monitors ( Alpine TME- M750A ). I'm now at the point of getting speakers, subs and amps. I was thinking of going with 3 or 4 JL Audio 10 W3's. Not sure whether to go with 2,4 or 6 ohm. Wanted to go with just 2 amps, probably JL Audio ( maybe a 500/1 or a 1000/1 for the subs and a 500/5 for the mids/highs ) ? Any suggestions here would be appreciated. Was thinking of going with MB Quart mids/highs, probably the PSD 218's for the front and possibly for the rear or just 6x9's for the rear? ( Dont know )? Any professional opinions would be greatly appreciated! Even if diffrent equipment is suggested I'd like some input. This is the first substantial system Ive put together for myself and I want it to be unreal!!!    Thanks.

Well The 1000/1 is only 1.5 ohm satable so if yo want to get 3 subs you will have to get the 6 ohm subs and is you want 4 subs I would jsut get 2 500/1 andso then you can either get 4 4 ohm subs or 4 6ohm subs and you just hook 2 up to one amp.  For you high mb quatrz is a great kindto go with.  If you want a really nice highs and mids system I would go with one of there componet series speaker.  but wth all these amps you will proble want a cap too

Have to agree with asdf1234 go with the 4 4ohm W3’s and 2 500/1’s. As far as mids and highs go get MB Quart components the best that you can afford. But be sure to listen to all your options before you buy the components.
