Alpine CDA-9855
Alpine MRD-M605
Alpine SWR-1222D x2 in a sealed box
Alpine KCE-511M (Head unit -> amp link)
I already have these for speakers:
Infinity Kappa 462.7cfp
Infinity Kappa 693.7i
backstory: car was broken into & my headunit, subs & amp were stolen, so with the insurance money, i'll be replacing my old components with the new alpine stuff
so what do you guys think?

and I forgot to say, I'll be running the subs so the amp sees a 2ohm load & since the amp is rated @ 600w rms @ 2ohms, that'll be 300w per sub

Oh, I don't know......have you looked at the Alpine stuff?

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Who would have thought that, Blowntweeters, of all people, would recommend soundstream gear, good grief.

I think it would be a pretty nice setup. Alpine is good stuff. My gf has a 12" type S in a sealed box with a mrp-m350 amp and it's a nice sq setup.

those subs can take approx. 500wrms a piece, so if you wanted a little more power, I'd get a bigger amp. but 300 to each sub would be alright. that's just my opinion.
