I've currently got Infinity kappa 5x7's in my 03 explorer...in the factory locations. I would like to upgrade to component speakers and have been considering the CDT HD 6.2's.....my question is, will the 6.5 mid bass speaker fit in the factory location?

I've always preferred 13cm over 17cm. Sometimes with the 6 1/2 you need to cut metal in this application.
There is no such thing as free installation!
