I changed the alarm to voltage from tach...same result. I really think that the two main issues (1. alarm will not attempt to remote start when armed / 2. car shuts off after running fine for 15 sec) are related and if i can figure out why #1 is happening everything else will fall into place. Any ideas anyone?

Do you have Starter Kill Relay installed?

Have you tried the "Valet Takeover" to see if it stays running ( page 29 )
