1999 Saturn OEM Remote Program Instructions?

I have a GM factory remote controle(1999 Saturn).

I was wondering if anyone has the program instructions to program a second one. All the info I have says I don't need to go back to the dealer to have them interface with their computer. just need the correct instructions/procedure.

any program instructions for GM would be greatly appr!

the GM # on the remote is: GM16245100-29

Canada# is:218101368

Model/FCC ID # is: AB01502T

The remote looks like the one on the bottom right in this picture:

I found a few program instructions but not the one I need. still looking for the Saturn 99 or others to add to my list. hope these few can help someones data inventory.

LESS SCAN TOOL

Intrigue & 1997-98 Century & Regal

  1. Sit in driver's seat.
  2. Remove ignition key from ignition lock cylinder.
  3. While holding door lock switch in unlock position, insert and remove ignition key twice. Do not rotate ignition lock cylinder.
  4. Insert ignition key a third time leaving the key in the ignition lock cylinder. Ensure ignition remains in lock position for rest of procedure.
  5. Release door lock switch. Three chimes should be heard to indicate transmitter programming is active.
  6. Press and hold lock and unlock buttons of keyless entry transmitter for 12 seconds. Two chimes should be heard to indicate transmitter has been programmed successfully.
  7. Repeat step 6 for additional transmitters.
  8. Exit procedure by removing key from ignition lock cylinder.
1997-98 Grand Prix
  1. Sit in driver's seat.
  2. Remove ignition key from lock cylinder.
  3. Ensure all doors are closed.
  4. Remove the "MALL PGM" fuse from fuse panel.
  5. Turn ignition lock cylinder to accessory position.
  6. Turn ignition lock cylinder to off position and then back to accessory position within one second.
  7. Open and close any door. A chime will be heard when remote control door lock receiver enters programming/diagnostic mode. If chime is not heard, repeat procedure as necessary.
  8. Press and hold remote transmitter lock and unlock buttons for 14 seconds.
  9. After 7 seconds, a chime should be heard confirming successful synchronization. After 14 seconds, a chime will be heard confirming successful programming.
  10. Repeat step 8 for each additional transmitter.
  11. Remove ignition key from ignition lock cylinder.
  12. Install "MALL PGM" fuse to fuse panel.
