What is the main reason for blown fuses? Is it the fuse size or wire? Im running 1 ga from the battery with a 300 amp fuse to a my cap, then 4 ga to a dist. block and 4 ga to my amp. The fuse im blowing is in the dist. block and its 60 amp. I have an Orion H2 15" DVC wired to 1 ohm to an Orion 1200. Ive checked the gain, grounds, wires etc.. and I cant figure out what the problem is. It only blowes when I turn the music up to a certain point though. I would just get the music turned down but what would be the point have having a loud system if you dont turn it up. Thanks for the help in advance.

Check the manufacturers specs on that amp.. seems to me its drawing more then 60amps.. obviously.. or it wouldnt blow the fuse.. not to mention ur running a 1 ohm load.. Im not familiar with that model.. but if its a class D amp, it may not be regulated, and will take as much current as it can to produce power.. some amps are HOGS when it comes to power consumption..
