hi! i'm new to the site, and new to the video section as well. i'm more of an audio enthusiast. but is getting interested in installing a video in my crv'02...

anyway... i was searching for some products.. and i'm a little tight on my budget since i'm still a student. so i was wondering if my plan was gonna work.. i plan to get kenwood's LZ-6500W...  i'm gonna put this in my 2-din up front.. since crv'02 has two 2-din spaces... (the other is for my H.U.) then install a kenwood tv tuner.. and slowly save up for a kenwood dvd player as well... (or other local brand)...but i was wondering if this would be better rather than getting a all-in-one system... like the ddx-7017... although its 400-500 bucks more expensive..

i chose kenwood since my H.U. is a kenwood dpx-4020.. so i kinda like to make it uniform in brand. but was wondering if kenwood monitors are any good.. is it any good? in terms of quality and bang for my buck...

hope you guys could help me out... i've registered and joined so many forums in asking this setup.. but nobody seemed to got any answers... please help me guys.. even if your not an expert... your opinion will highly be appreciated. thanks!

Kenwood makes excellent monitors...but the monitor model you list is for headrest install not double din mount. You will have greater flexibility with seperate units over one unit, however multiple units will require more work and cables. Add those into the cost comparison then decide.

thanks ralphwiggum! i think i saw an install using that particular monitor. i prefer this type of monitor because i dont like to get an in-dash monitor, those motorized screens doesnt appeal to me... dont know why though. anyway, i dont have a problem with wires and installs. just the cost :) so i was hoping i could bring the cost down with this particular setup. thanks alot for your rating on kenwood monitors. really much appreciated.

hoping for more comments guys. anything you can say will be much appreciated! :)
