adding amplifier for subwoofer? if so, you can save genuine factory subwoofer under the seat. but amp remote voltage should be 5volt. most aftermarket headunit's amp remote is 12volt.when you turn on new head-unit with 12volt amp-remote,you can hear big pop noise from Sub. If new head-unit has sub-woofer preout, no need any interface. we always save factory subs when replacing new head-unit from factory head-unit. Good Luck!
