im lost.  i have an omega max e remote start alarm combo in this car.  sometimes it starts sometimes it doesnt. when the car doesnt start the acc wire is powerig up before the car cranks.  when it  cranks it actually doesnt crank the dash lightsi just blink off then on.  im at witts end with this car, any help would be greatly apperciated. thank you

Might check the Plugs on the Unit & Ground .....plus the connections

Strange to be erratic.......I haven't had a bad one yet

when i check the heavy guage wires when remote starting it does the same thing when it fires as it does when it doesnt

all connections are firm and even swithed brains.  same results

First thing I would look at is the bypass module and making sure that it is properly grounded and powered. Next I would look at the status wire coming from the Omega unit to ensure that your getting a true (-) when remote started. We need to know what bypass module you used as well.

using omega pass-4.  ground and power are good i've talked to a few people around here and noone seems to know anything

- ignition is good replaced pass-4 unit and its all working now.  i dont understand why it was so eratic but its working now. thank you for the help.  i was just working on a hundred things today and overlooked the obvious.  thanks again
