Is it possible to extend the wires on the 791 XV antenna without compromising reception?  I would like to put it on my back window and do not have enought wire currently for that.

i dont think extending it to put on your back window is going to make much difference in reception at all, only alarm/paging units with the best reception i think are the ones that use the car antenna

I kind of expected that the cables were not to be tampered with.  I managed to get it to my back window be rethinking the route through my headliner.  ( I only wanted it there for cosmetic reasons anyway)

Thanks
