Anyone had any experience with the JL Audio 8W0 Subwoofers?  Trying to come up with a stealthy installation, and am very interested in their shallow mounting depth and tiny enclosure volumes.  How do they perform?

The new shallow ones, or the older ones?

.... I've had great experiences with cheapo-JBL 8's... I've used them in 3 different cars. I couldn't imagine that the JL version wouldn't sound as good if not a bit better.
8's are *very* clean, but they don't drop too much.. real snappy.. lotta midbass. I like the sound they make.

I had 2 jlw0's from like 99-98 until recently and I thought they were great.  I had them in a 91 regular cab chevy truck.  I still want the midbass those things produced, but they were lacking on the low side.  they were run off a ppi pc225.

JL has only made one version of the WO 8" subwoofer. It's an excellant woofer especially in multiples of 2 or 3. It's also available in 4 or 8 ohm versions so it is easy to put the impedence where you want it.
There is no such thing as free installation!
