Cadillac Headunit removal -- posted image.Does anyone know how to remove a head unit from a cadillac sedan deville? i believe it has a delco lock radio in it im not sure what it is and i tried to remove it and theres nothing typical to look for to remove it. I removed the ashtray and theres no screws holding the wood grain and i dont feel like tearing the whole dash apart. Also where can i find a high powered head unit to replace it? im looking for something like a 220 watt head unit. The only ones ive found were made by Dual one is xm satellite compatable and i pod compatable, the other is just cd r mp3 wma compatable. I appreciate any and all help thanks

On the head unit part... if its not MOSFET powered , its more than likely crap.

I at one time sold Boss and Sound Storm-no MOSFET low quality power

look for MOSFET
