I have a 2005 Mustang GT 5 speed and I have put the compustar 2wss-as in my car, it is the proper brain for manual transmission, everything works fine except for the remote start portion and the fasling of the door trigger in these fords

so the remote start gives me 7 flashes of the parking lights which means (reservation mode off or something) but I have done the correct shut down procedures, my car stays running like it is supposed to, i get out of the car shut the door, the car turns off and arms itself which is all good

I go to remote start it but the lights flash 7 times and the car won't start, would this have anything to do with the delayed dome light and if it does is there a fix for this

Next, the falsing of the door trigger, can someone show me an easy fix for this

And also is there a way to hook up illuminated entry, and dor trigger to the same wire, I am guessing you need diodes?

if have access to directfax.... doc 1076 ... door trigger isolation from each other and bcm.....

1. tie too diode together on the stripe side

2. cut the door trigger wire

3. hook up door trigger side to stripe side of diodes tied together

4. hook up two remaining non stripe side to bcm and alarm door trigger

I am going to do this, but I got the door trigger wire from the SJB (Smart Junction Box) located in the passenger kickpanel, is this a different name for body control module

so basically cut the wire in half and connect two diodes?

And also does anyone have any answers to the illuminated entry and remote start problems I am having

Thanks Mike
