Hi guys, need some expert advice on remote keyless entry.  The car is a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT, with factory keyless entry that doesn't work.  I went thru the usual stuff, changed the batteries in the remotes, even bought a new remote, checked all fuses, etc.  It will go into program mode when I pull the MALL PGM fuse and follow the sequence, but the remotes never sync up.  Anyway, I'm hearing lots of $$$ to fix at the dealer.

My mechanic sent the car to his local alarm guy and he installed the cheapest POS 1-button remote thing I've ever seen.  I don't even have separate lock/unlock buttons, let alone trunk and panic.  I've decided to get that crap out of my car and do it myself.

What would be a good system to install?  I really just want the keyless entry to work, I don't need a fancy alarm.  Need some recommendations from the pros please!   Any input appreciated!

For JUST KEYLESS:

MICRO makes a Nice Keyless Entry with a number of extra's.
OMEGA also has a very reliable unit, but I don't like th looks of it.
