Today I installed a code alarm remote start (pc7400) into a 2003 toyoyta matrix. The headlights come on instantly day or night after you start the car. After I put the remote start in today, They don't come on automatically. but they will come on with the switch. I only had limited tech data, I pretty sure I need to energize a wire but I don't know where and what. If anyone has data that can help me, please respond

OEM Horn:		GREEN/ YELLOW (-)	STEERING COLUMN HARNESS
Power Lock:		GREEN (-)	PASSENGER KICK PANEL *
Power Unlock:		BLUE/BLACK (-)	PASSENGER KICK PANEL *
Trunk Release:		BLUE/WHITE (-)	AT RELEASE SWITCH ON DASH
Alarm Input Wire:		COMES ON WITH UNLOCK	DOOR TRIGGER IS RED / YELLOW (-) IN DRIVER'S KICK
Notes:	* These wires are connected to passenger door lock cylinder. Test wires using key in door lock cylinder. See Installation Note #201 - Negative Trigger Door Lock Diagram.

Hope this wiring diagram would help. Sounds like you have an Ignition wire crossed with the head lights. Double check all your wiring connections. Good Luck.

also make sure park brake is off on most cars this is an override for drl's. also is the customer that finicky that the drl's dont come on??? if so he/she needs to get out more. or is it that if remote started they dont come on at all???even after the key is inserted???
