I am looking for an alarm for a 2000 dakota that will remotely start,lock/unlock open tonneau cover and hood (both on actuators) also security feature recommendations. Security is more important then price I can go look at viper alarms but i dont know what all that stuff means. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

My vote goes to the Compustar alarm  / starters. Completely flexible, installer friendly, expandable easily and most important it has not had a major new model every year approach. The main brain has remained unchanged for a number of years now, minor software revisions only + updated remotes and antenna's. I have the same brain in use in my vehicle from 2000, now with the new remote and antenna. There is a lot of crap out there that is passed of as good, in some cases it is who makes who. You can't go wrong with any of the brands that have been mentioned thus far.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
