Got a question.

Does anyone know of a day-night sensor that is available for controlling electronic components. I want to connect a pair of underseat lights up so that when the door is opened and it is night time, they will automatically light up.

Is something like this possible with some relays and a day-night sensor?

I believe I have heard of one being available for automatically arming alarms and such at night but can't seem to locate one.. Could this be used for my situation?

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Kyle

What would be so bad if the lights turned on everytime you opened the door whether it was day or night?  This would be a whole lot easier, since you would just use your doorpin or dome light to trigger a relay that would turn on the lights.
