Hello,

I haven't done the install yet, but I hurd using the GMDAA by-pass in a 05-06 Silverado causes the Door Chime to go off for no reason. Anyone know if this is ture or is there something I should do different when hocking it up?

thanks

i was reading up on that piece and there web site says it does disable it.....but there is a solution........

The installer will need to connect an independent door trigger to each door in order to get a full-time domelight output to use with the bypasskit, starter or alarm. If the vehicle is not equipped with power windows the door triggers can be found at the BCM. If the vehicle does have power windows the door triggers will need to be taken from the inside of each door.
