OK, I got a alarm off of ebay (bad idea), it is a radio star. I istallled it on my automatic ford escort. The triggers, lock arlam and lights all work. Now I am on the final and most challangeing part. The remote install. I hooked up the starter to the ignition switch. But I do not know how to hook up the tach sensor. Wear is an easy place to tap that wire, without haing to remove the entire dash? Is it in the stering column? Is there some weare in the engine I can tap? And finally should the remote start work without the tach sensor, because mine does not?
