I'm looking for a great medium of SQ and SPL. I'm going to have 420rms for these subs. Let me know what you think and why. Thanks,

I would get  the L5 because it is a little more effient at 420 watts. The Cvr take 300 watts rms
you can't be ahead of the curb if you aren't LIVIN LOUD

More cone area will generally always give you greater output. I would go with the (2) 10's and do them in a ported box personally. However if you are on a budget, a single sub is usually always cheaper than buying 2

Go for the 2 subs ...life is very short!!!  2 subs 12" ´s and install´em in a ported box tuned @ 40 hertz!!!
