Hey guys, its my first time posting here and it looks pretty nice. Anyway, I am extremely frustrated with this problem so hopefully you guy can help me out.

So, I have a 10 disc Sony xplod changer in my car, works fine. I even installed a sub with an adapter for the 6x9's in the rear. I changed all my speakers and they are all good too. Only 1 last thing to change, The stock Head Unit, which has proved to be extremely iritaing. I go to Bestbuy and Circuit City and they tell me I need a custom job to rewire the harness' if I want a New HU, and that'll cost around $150, whic I refuse to pay. I know a bit about wiring, I can solder, and I am in Auto Tech 2 in school so I have a bunch of people who know about this stuff to the point of being able to help me. I wanted to know if someone could tell me what I need to rewire to where, and all that good stuff, so I can put in a new HU. Thanks!

Its a 94 Caddillac Eldorado (without the BOSE system, its just plain stock)

Whether it's a Bose or not this is a two piece system. The HU is just a controller while the amp, tuner and power supply are in the trunk behind the right rear wheel well. You'll need to extend both power leads, all speaker leads and the antenna cable from the trunk to the dash. The Metra mounting kit is model # 99-2002. it's not a real difficult job, just time consuming.
There is no such thing as free installation!

Ok, I ordered the Metra kit and it seems like it should work because it has a different clip to hold it, because the other kit i had didn't work and it looked way different. I ordered from Crutchfield so I got a guide and everything but I didn't need really, just for the coloring codes. Only thing is the antenna wire they sent me isnt long enough to reach my front so I need to get an extension. other than that it should be good to go.
