ok i was wondering exacly what size speaker are in the door. some sites say 6x9 some 5x8. which it is??? and the backs are 6 1/2 right.  cuz my friend want something clear so i was thinkin about some alpine type s, Ma audio hk598 for the door speakers also what kind of 10" sub would handle 150 nicely because he has a kenwood amp that actually puts out 150 watts bridge( advertise as 600watt amp). he wants something clean and nice sounding

thanks

5x7's (aka 6x8's) are typically used in Fords.  Your Jeep should have 6x9's up front.  Any decent 10" in the right enclosure would do fine.

Hook up the deck first and see what you think.  If you want a little more (an amp), Christmas is just around the corner.

How did you remove the front and back speakers? Also where is the best place to run power wire through the firewall? Thank you.
