If you had to Crossfire vr-1000d's what type of subs would you buy? what size? Voice Coil config? And you would be installing them into a '03 impala that has trunk space.

I talked to my guys,   they said 2 12"sx subs would work great,   if you really wanted to get crazy, you could run 3 12's   I know the amps will handle the 1.33ohm load presented, but you will really need that 2400, and alt upgrade, and the 1/0 guage wiring we talked about....
If you want to talk to them too thier # is 1-816-858-2303   Talk to Jerry or Jeff.
Let them know that I told you about them, or Twited Image sent you,   and they might cut you a deal on your subs too!

obviously spl is your goal. What about 4 id max 12's (dual 2 ohm version). those would pound your chest in! great amp's by the way.

From what I understand, SPL is not the main goal.   but would like to be possible if shows come around.       This will still make one killer setup

Yes, I have heard of Chris Norris, he is not a USACi competitor, he is a DB Drag competitor     I know he placed in the top 5 at DB drag in EX 5+     If this is who you are dealing with, more power to you!
Like I said if you have any questions contact me or the # I gave you for NW audio,   they will tell you all BS aside
